Can't Reach Us by Email? Here's the Fastest Backup Option
Fills a real gap: FIKI had no fallback answer for "I emailed and haven't heard back" style questions. Keeps the guidance generic to "moderators" rather than naming any specific individual, since team composition changes.
If you've emailed happyhunting@tohs.ca and haven't heard back yet, the fastest backup is to go through the Toronto Home Zone Facebook group directly -- note this is the Toronto Home Zone group; there is no separate "TOHS group" to look for.
From the group, check the list of moderators (usually visible under the group's "Admins & Moderators" section). Most moderators have a Group Page listed alongside their name -- message through that Group Page, not a personal profile DM.
Why this works better than a DM: given the size of the group, moderators can't realistically keep up with personal direct messages, but they do actively monitor their Group Page inboxes. Messaging through the Group Page is the most reliable way to get a timely response if email hasn't worked.
