Short-Term Rentals Thread
Fills a real gap: FIKI had no knowledge of this thread and could not mention it when someone described a short-duration or temporary rental need. This is a THZ-specific community mechanic, not a formal posting-rules category.
Looking for or offering something short-term (anything from a few days up to a few months)? Toronto Home Zone keeps a dedicated, pinned SHORT-TERM RENTALS thread in the Facebook group for exactly this.
How it works: a fresh thread is posted at the start of each season (winter, spring, summer, fall), replacing the previous one. Any length of short-term stay is welcome there -- there's no fixed minimum or maximum duration like there is for a normal ISO/Offering post.
Important: you cannot create a new top-level post offering a short-term rental in the main group feed the way you would a regular listing. Instead, offering a short-term place or searching for one both happen inside that pinned thread -- browse the replies to find people, or add your own comment describing what you have or need, then reach out directly to anyone who looks like a match.
